SYNTIA is a free-to-publish, open-access journal. Authors are not charged any fees at any stage of the publication process.

SYNTIA does not charge a fee for submitting a manuscript.

2. Article Processing Charge (APC)

Fee: None (free)
There is no charge for peer review, editorial handling, copyediting, typesetting, DOI registration, online publication, or long-term archiving of accepted articles.

3. Fast-Track Review Fee

Fee: None (free)
The journal does not offer paid expedited review. All manuscripts follow the same editorial and peer-review process, regardless of the authors’ nationality, affiliation, or funding.

4. Other Charges

The journal does not charge page fees, color figure fees, publication-after-acceptance fees, or any other hidden or additional costs. Readers may access, download, and share all published content free of charge under the journal’s open-access license.

Funding of the Journal
The operation of SYNTIA is supported by Faculty of Engineering, Tadulako University. Publication costs are covered by this support, so authors do not need to pay or seek a fee waiver.

Editorial Independence
Editorial decisions are based solely on the originality, scientific quality, and relevance of a manuscript to the journal’s scope. The publication of an article is not influenced by any financial consideration.

Future Changes to This Policy
Should the journal introduce publication fees in the future, the change will be announced publicly on this website with at least six (6) months’ prior notice. Any new fee will apply only to manuscripts submitted after the announced effective date. Manuscripts submitted before that date will remain free of charge.
