Call for Papers: Vol. 2 No. 1 (2026): December 2026

SYNTIA (Systems and Technologies in Artificial Intelligence Applications) invites researchers, academics, and practitioners to submit original manuscripts for Volume 2, Number 2 (December 2026). SYNTIA is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Department of Information Technology, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Tadulako, Indonesia.

Scope and Topics

We welcome theoretical contributions, empirical studies, and applied case studies on artificial intelligence and intelligent systems, including but not limited to:

  • Machine learning and deep learning
  • Natural language processing and large language models
  • Computer vision and image analysis
  • Data science, data mining, and data quality
  • Intelligent, agent-based, and multi-agent systems
  • AI for cybersecurity, web security, and blockchain applications
  • AI applications in agriculture, healthcare, education, and public services
  • Explainable, responsible, and ethical AI

Submission Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under review in any other journal.
  • Manuscripts must be written in English, 6–12 pages, and prepared using the official SYNTIA journal template.
  • Title of no more than 14 words; abstract of 150–250 words with 3–5 keywords.
  • Structure: Introduction, Methodology, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, and References.
  • At least 15 references, with at least 70% published within the last five years, formatted in APA 7th edition or IEEE style.
  • Similarity index (plagiarism check) of 20% or lower.

Review Process

Every submission undergoes an initial completeness screening, followed by peer review. Manuscripts that do not meet the journal’s ethical, formatting, or quality standards may be rejected at the screening stage.

Publication and Fees

Accepted articles are published open access under the Creative Commons Attribution–ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) license. There are no article processing charges or submission fees at this time.
